Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy is a version 1 document and is pending final legal review. For customers, the Acceptable Use Policy that forms part of your customer agreement governs your use of the platform.

Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out conduct that is not permitted when using the Kapālins website, platform, AI Intelligence Hub and related services provided by Kapalins Pty Ltd. It supplements our Terms of Service and, for customers, the Acceptable Use Policy in your customer agreement. By using our services you agree to comply with this AUP.

Prohibited conduct

You must not use, or attempt to use, our website, platform or services to:

• do anything unlawful, or that breaches applicable law or regulation, or that facilitates an unlawful act;
• gain or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, accounts or networks, or breach, probe, scan or test any security or authentication measure;
• access, interfere with, or attempt to compromise the isolation, data or environment of another tenant or customer;
• reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or otherwise attempt to derive the source code, models or underlying structure of our platform, except to the extent that restriction is prohibited by law;
• use the platform or any of its outputs to build, train or improve a competing product or service;
• upload, transmit or introduce malware, malicious code, or anything designed to disrupt, damage or place an unreasonable load on our infrastructure;
• infringe, misappropriate or violate the intellectual-property, privacy or other rights of any person;
• generate, store or distribute unlawful, harmful, infringing, deceptive or otherwise prohibited content; or
• enter confidential, sensitive or personal information into the AI Hub, or otherwise misuse the AI Hub. The AI Hub is informational only and is not intended for sensitive data.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for activity carried out under your access, for keeping your credentials secure, and for ensuring that anyone you permit to use the services on your behalf complies with this AUP.

Enforcement and suspension

We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations of this AUP and to suspend or restrict access — in whole or in part, and without notice where reasonably necessary to protect our systems, our customers or third parties — where we believe a violation has occurred or is likely. For customers, our enforcement rights are exercised in accordance with your customer agreement. We may also report unlawful activity to the relevant authorities.

We may update this AUP from time to time. The current version is always published on this page, with the "last updated" date shown above.
