Kapālins Pty Ltd (ABN 28 669 888 662) ("Kapālins", "we", "us") is an Australian-owned AI security and governance company. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
We collect information you choose to give us — such as your name, work email, company and the content of any enquiry or briefing request you submit. When you use this website we also collect limited technical information such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed and similar usage data through cookies and standard server logs.
We use personal information to respond to your enquiries, arrange briefings, provide and improve our products and services, keep our website and systems secure, and meet our legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
The AI Hub on this website processes the text you enter through a third-party model provider (Groq) to generate a response. Please do not enter confidential, sensitive or personal information into the Hub. Generated answers are produced by AI, may be inaccurate or incomplete, and are provided for general information only.
We may share personal information with trusted service providers who help us operate — for example website hosting and the AI provider that powers the Hub — and where required or authorised by law. We require these providers to protect your information and use it only for the services they provide to us.
Some of our service providers may store or process information outside Australia. Where this occurs we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled consistently with this policy and the APPs. Our platform offers in-country (au-southeast1) data residency for customer telemetry.
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies — for essential site function and to remember preferences such as your light or dark theme. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings; some features may not work without them.
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information at all times.
