This Supplier Code of Conduct sets out the standards Kapālins expects of all suppliers, contractors, subcontractors and partners ("Suppliers") who provide goods or services to us or on our behalf. We expect Suppliers to apply equivalent standards within their own supply chains.
Suppliers must comply with all applicable laws and regulations in the jurisdictions where they operate, including those relating to data protection, privacy, employment, trade and anti-money-laundering.
Suppliers must conduct business with integrity. Bribery, corruption, facilitation payments, fraud and improper inducements of any kind are prohibited. Gifts and hospitality must be modest, transparent and never intended to improperly influence a decision.
Suppliers must treat workers fairly and with respect. Forced labour, child labour, human trafficking and modern slavery are strictly prohibited. Suppliers must provide safe working conditions, fair wages and lawful working hours, and respect freedom of association.
Suppliers must provide a safe and healthy working environment, comply with applicable work health and safety laws, and work to minimise the environmental impact of their operations.
Suppliers who access Kapālins or client systems, data or facilities must protect that information, follow our security requirements, use the information only for the agreed purpose, and notify us promptly of any actual or suspected security incident or data breach.
Suppliers must keep Kapālins and client confidential information secure, use it only as authorised, and respect intellectual property rights at all times.
Suppliers must avoid actual, potential or perceived conflicts of interest and disclose any that arise in connection with their work for Kapālins.
Where Suppliers engage subcontractors to deliver work for Kapālins, they must hold those subcontractors to standards consistent with this Code.
Suppliers are encouraged to report, in good faith, any conduct that may breach this Code to enquiry@kapalins.com. We will not tolerate retaliation against anyone who raises a genuine concern.
By doing business with Kapālins, Suppliers acknowledge and agree to act consistently with this Code. We may update this Code from time to time; the current version is available on this page.
