EU AI Act, DORA and NIS2: AI security evidence for European enterprises

Europe wrote the rules the rest of the world is copying. Kapālins turns the EU AI Act, DORA and NIS2 into controls proved continuously, so a European CISO can show a supervisor which AI the company runs and that each still behaves as approved.

Why now

What changes for the EU enterprises, and when.

The Digital Omnibus on AI, in force since 27 July 2026, moved Annex III high-risk obligations to 2 December 2027 and Annex I product obligations to 2 August 2028. It did not move Article 50 transparency, which has applied since 2 August 2026. DORA has applied to financial entities since January 2025, NIS2 transposition is complete in most member states, and the Cyber Resilience Act's reporting duties begin in September 2026. The deferral bought time to build evidence, not to wait.
