The AI Trust Index becomes a command centre

The board gets one score, and the widgets behind it open onto the tenant data it was computed from.

At a glance
  • Widgets drawn from the organisation’s own data, each opening a drill-down.
  • Per-tenant weights within guardrails, a published methodology and a journal of score changes.
  • Three pillars weighted by default Security 50%, Compliance 30% and Value 20%; no data, no score.

What’s new

In June 2026 the AI Trust Index became a command centre in the platform. The command centre drew its widgets from the organisation’s own data, and each widget opened a drill-down.

Its widgets covered governed traffic flow, views against MITRE ATLAS and the OWASP LLM Top 10, two public catalogues of attacks on AI systems, a regulatory radar, AI spend and AI identity. Active Signals and a What Needs You Today list, ranked by impact on the score, sat beside them.

The AI Trust Index is built from three pillars, weighted apart: security, compliance and value.

Why it matters

In the same month the index gained per-tenant pillar weights within guardrails, a published methodology, and a journal that records each change in score with the pillar movements and drivers behind it.

Where telemetry is absent, a widget shows an empty state that names what is missing.

How it works

On kapalins.com today the AI Trust Index is a single 0–100 score from three pillars, computed separately and weighted by default Security 50%, Compliance 30% and Value 20%. An estate with nothing to measure reads as unmeasured, never zero.

A tenant can change the weights only within guardrails and only as an owner or administrator, and every change is recorded with who made it and when.

Availability

The command centre was completed on 13 June 2026 and became available in production when the Kapālins platform went live on 26 July 2026.

The AI Trust Index is included in every plan, and Fortress includes it with evidence.
