In August 2026 Kapālins released a device sensor for Windows, macOS and Linux that finds the AI tools installed on a laptop.
From 30 August an organisation could switch on a check in the sensor that compares an AI coding agent’s calls to locally run MCP tool servers (the connectors agents use to reach files, databases and other systems) with the organisation’s rules, and refuses a call that breaks them before it runs. It is off unless the organisation turns it on.
